P4-1【活動目的】
デジタルフォトフレームをベースとした「遠隔医療」の実現をはかる。各家庭で常にオープンされている、ＷＥＢのＰＵＳＨ型スクリーンとしてのインフラを開発。放送波の受信機とＷＥＢカメラを搭載して、その症状に合わせた遠隔診断により、町医者と総合病院との最適な治療配分を実現。医療費拡大の歯止めとしての役目は勿論、高齢社会への健康増進対策としての効果を狙う。

１：１でのコミュニケーションは通信で、デジタルフォトフレームに①行政告知、②緊急情報、③厚生労働省からの告知、④地域コミュニティ告知、⑤天気やNEWS等一般情報を、放送波を利用してのマルチキャストを実現。実生活における放送と通信の融合メディアとしての活用利点や欠点を検証する。

その発展として、ターゲティングメディアとして、新聞チラシや郵便ポストの代用として利用が想定される。同時に、国民ＩＤ制度の導入受け皿機能や、レセプトのオンライン化のインフラ、社会保障や電子私書箱としての活用も視野に入れ、情報インフラのポータルとして、海外へ新ビジネスモデルとしての輸出拡大も期待可能。

放送通信融合型の次世代コンテンツデリバリーネットワークの実用化により、日本のＩＣＴ利活用のグランドデザイン策定をおこなうプロジェクトである。

■P4-2【活動目的】
Developing applications and expanding the utilization of mobile phones globally across various demographics remains a focus area; along with expanding the application and utilization of renewable energy systems. In this project we explore the possibilities of utilizing mobile phone based computing systems and renewable energy systems for rural health care in developing countries. At present components of health care delivery and designing customized remote renewable energy systems are technologically possible.

The purpose of this project is to asses if they can work as a system and provide a reliable, efficient and a realistic alternative to existing rural health systems.

This project has several objectives. They are listed as 5 stages:

① Map the list of diagnostic equipments used in rural health systems. ② Map the job responsibilities of various health care professionals in a rural health system. ③ Identify equipments that can work on a mobile phone based system and can be used in rural health care. ④ Combine the identified equipments to see if it can virtually simulate the working of a rural health system. ⑤ Design and develop a report and documentary with descriptive visual effects for better understanding.
